The Taller San Jose Amigo Program provides an opportunity for friends of Taller San Jose to sponsor a student with a scholarship of $1,000 or more for one year of study in our program.

Giving Levels for the Amigo Program:

• A gift of $1,000 enables a student to finish his/her high school diploma.
• A gift of $2,500 enables a student to finish his/her high school diploma and participate in additional job training programs such as the Convalescent Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification or the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOS) programs.
• A gift of $5,000 provides training in the construction trades for an apprentice at Taller San Jose Tech.
• A gift of $7,500 in addition to providing for a student's education and job-training, prepares a Taller San Jose graduate to enter the workforce through intensive mentoring and job preparation workshops. Proceeds from this gift may assist in purchasing needed clothing for a job interview, in providing counseling for drug and alcohol abuse, or in enrolling in classes at Santa Ana College.
