MEDICAL CAREERS
Through programs in convalescent nursing and medical administrative assistant, Taller San Jose trains students to meet the broad range of needs of Orange County’s healthcare community.  The 18-week convalescent nursing course prepares students to work in convalescent care facilities and acute care hospitals.  Program completion creates eligibility for students to take examinations leading to state CNA licensure.  The Medical Administrative Assistant course teaches the skills needed to work in doctors’ offices, clinics and various hospital departments.  Coursework includes data entry, telephone and appointment protocol, and computerized medical software programs for medical office management.
