TALLER TECH
Taller Tech recruits young people with no marketable job skills and prepares them for employment in the construction industry.  This 15-week, paid apprenticeship program focuses on the fundamentals of residential construction and incorporates: safety awareness and training, industry related math, construction theory, hands-on experience, adherence to attendance policies, mentoring, job coaching and leadership development. Led by a Licensed General Contractor with more than 30 years of experience, Taller Tech is guided by a board of Orange County’s largest builders and developers.

87% of graduates are employed

95% are working in the industry

93% remain employed 12 months later

49% are in an apprenticeship or attending college

$11.42 per hour – average starting wage for graduates

Of graduates who were previously incarcerated, 92% have not been rearrested
